To determine whether or not metastasized , doctors use diagnostic techniques such as conventional X -ray of chest computed tomography ( CT), magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET). Based on the test results , your doctor can determines the best treatment for you. Treatment options include radiation therapy , chemotherapy and targeted therapy drugs. However, the metastatic lung cancer is very difficult to treat , because the cells have spread in different parts of the body . For the treatment of this disease , each cell must be removed , and it is not an easy thing to do.
